God Glorifying Worship

We believe that worship is our response, both personal and corporate, to God, for who He is and what He has done, expressed in and by the things we say and the way we live. Our desire is to create an atmosphere in our times together where we can glorify God through song. Our church family loves to sing, and we want the focus of our worship to be on who God is and what He has done for us.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

(Colossians 3:16-17)

Preaching from the Bible

We believe that the most important thing we do on a Sunday morning is to submit ourselves to the teaching of God's word. It is through the proclamation, explanation, and application of the Scriptures that God, by his Spirit, encourages us, convicts us, changes us, and points us to Jesus. Our sermons are usually based upon a book of the Bible that we are working our way through or on a topical series based upon biblical principles, and last between 30 and 45 minutes.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

(2 Timothy 3:16–17)

For the Kids...

(and their parents!)

Our children join us for the singing portion of our service as we love to worship together as a family.  After worship we call the kids forward for a story, a prayer of blessing and then we release them to their Sunday School classes, which are staffed with amazing teachers who love God and love to serve in our church. All have gone through a background check and have been screened by church staff.

In addition, we have a Mothers Nursery set aside for Moms with small children with a live video feed of the service. If you desire to have your children with you during the entire service, we encourage you to do so.  We also have an awesome lobby that many of our families with small children utilize during the sermon so that they can still see and hear the sermon and not feel like their kids are being a distraction.
