OUr Ministries

Here are just some of the ministries that are going on at Rainier Hills throughout the week (including Sunday mornings!).

Also, please check out our LIFE Groups, our small group ministry, that meets in homes throughout the area.

We would love to have you engage with us.

Rainier HIlls Kids

Rainier Hills Kids, our children's ministry has many programs in place to help teach your children about Jesus and God's Word.  Our volunteers use a variety of different teaching methods to help your child grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. These include Bible stories, small groups, singing, crafts, drama, puppets, puzzles and games.  For more info about how our Kids ministry works on Sunday morning, visit our Sunday Services page.

All of our dedicated volunteers who staff our classrooms have been interviewed by church staff and have undergone a background check.

If you would have any questions regarding our Children's ministry, please contact our Children's Ministry Director Amy Thatcher at [email protected].

Awakening Youth

Our youth gatherings are Sunday Nights at 6:15pm in the Portables behind the church building. Each week we gather together for a time of fun, fellowship, worship, teaching and small groups.

Parents, you can be assured that we will end at 8:00pm!

All youth (junior high through high school) are welcome. Please join us!

Women's Ministry

Our ministries may look a little different this season, but we have a few ways you can still participate and get plugged in - Please take the leap and join us this season in one of the following formats!

1. Tuesday Evening Bible Study.  Join us from 6:30-7:30 PM for an 8-part video series called The Blazing Center, by John Piper.  This study will meet each Tuesday night beginning October 6th and ending on November 24th, in the RHCF Family Room.  We will spend time in worship, watch the video together, and close our time in corporate prayer.

2. The Blazing Center, On-Your-Own or With-A-Friend!  If you are wanting to learn the same material as the Tuesday evening study, but prefer not to meet in a group setting, this series is available to you at home for free!  Grab a family member or a close friend, and spend some time once a week chatting through your study guide preparation, watching the video, and praying together!  Access to all eight videos is available here:  The Blazing Center

3. Bible & Coffee, On-Your-Own or With-A-Friend!  Of course, this is always available, but this season is particularly suited for one-on-one discipleship.  Unsure of where to start?  I strongly recommend reading Women of the Word, by Jen Wilkin (It's 152 pages of serious, but gentle help!!!  Available in the church lobby!).  Then grab a girlfriend, pick a short book of the Bible, and try out these simple but beautiful tools!  If you've never tried this before, you're going to feel awkward and clumsy.  I still feel that way all the time, so you're in great company!  If you're more mature in the faith, would you consider making yourself available to one or two of our younger sisters?  If you're a newer Christian, would you be brave and make a date with one of our older sisters?

If you have any questions, please contact the Catrina Majack at 206.999/.0706 or [email protected].

*****Women's Bible Study runs from October through May with breaks on holidays and school vacations following the White River School District*****

Men's Ministry

Men's Night is on the second Sunday of each month at 6pm from September through June.

We'll eat dinner together and then gather for a time of worship, teaching and prayer.

Community Caring

Community Caring exists to provide for the physical, relational, and emotional needs of our church and surrounding communities through practical means and acts of service.  Through this ministry we support a local elementary school by providing weekend meals for children who otherwise wouldn't have meals to eat, provide gift cards to families in need during the holiday season, as well as a variety of other giving and serving opportunities that arise that we can support!

To give towards this ministry, please click the 'Make a Donation' button below and select one of the Community Caring funds! May the Lord bless you for your generosity!
