Step 1: Follow Jesus: You must be a Christian who has been baptized in response to the commands of Scripture as an outward sign of your faith in Jesus Christ.
Step 2: Get to Know Us: Spend some time getting to know us as a church. That would include participating in our Sunday services, as well as taking part in the other ministries and meetings we provide as a church (i.e. our Life Groups).
Step 3: Attend a Life at the Hills Class: Life at The Hills is a class that we put on about 3-4 times a year to let people know all about our church. In the class we discuss just about everything there is to know about our church, including our history, vision and values, beliefs, ministries, etc. We also discuss what it means to be a covenant member at Rainier Hills. The class is for anyone who is interested in knowing more about our church family, and is one of the steps required for those who desire to become a member. The class is 2 hours in length, and we offer it at various times throughout the year.
Step 4: Pray and Consider: Take time to pray and consider whether or not you can give yourself wholeheartedly to the vision and values of this church and if you will be an active and healthy participant in our church family.
Step 5: Meet with an Elder: Set up a time to meet with one of our elders as the final step of the membership process. You can meet with any elder you choose and can contact them directly.
